I made you a mixed tape November 25, 2008

Hi <insert my as yet to be determined quirky follower name here>!

I’ve decided you can’t live another day without a sampling of my musical selections.  So – I’m posting some links here – updated daily (by that I mean – as often as I feel like it) – with links to songs I love.  Some may link to youtube, some may be amazon, some may just by lyrics.  Depending on my mood, they may be sappy, they may be rockish, they may be country…who knows.  Currently, we’re in a sappy/country mix as that is what is playing in my car.  Although the house is rocking a John Mayer/Jason Mraz/Joshua Radin theme…so…there you go.  And lest we forget my favorite band is the Beatles…oh! and Fergie!  I love Fergie!  so…who the hell knows what you’ll get. 

Feel free to leave comments and suggestions, but if I don’t love it, I’m not leavin’ it on the page – after all – this is *my* mixed tape.

Josh Radin – Today – every song by this guy is a gut-wrenching piece of brilliance – but this one…this one….wow…the man of my dreams will have this one incorporated into our romance somehow

I couldn’t not do at least ONE Beatles song my first time out.  I prefer “Boy Band” Beatles to the “mature-evolved” Beatles…though I love them too!

I never even heard of these people before – but I really really like them – it is one of those songs that makes you cry but you aren’t sure why but it is probably just PMS but because you aren’t sure you think maybe it is something to do with someone in your life…you don’t know…you can’t put your finger on it…which is why it’s probably PMS…but regardless…it’s too late…the song is now yours

Cuz some of us make the rockin’ world go round – and cuz i love Kid Rock - uhhh…disregard whatever these yahoos put on the video – just love how Kid Rocked this song

Jolene - I work with a girl who is named Jolene.  I also slow danced to this song on a patio with a boy who was probably too drunk to remember it and he broke my heart a little bit – regardless – I still love the song
